Hackney Children’s Theatre is East London’s newest project for children’s theatre. Based in St John at Hackney Church E5 it presents monthly, affordable, professional theatre made for children audiences. 

Each year as an antidote to the grey month of January, Hackney Children’s Theatre produces a spectacular variety show. Each year has a particular theme. The show consists of a line up of approximately 6 variety acts who can please a large feisty local family crowd . 

Hackney Children’s Theatre is looking for innovative, weird, wonderful and hilarious variety acts that are a max 10 minutes for the January 2016 line up .  

Acts can be solos, duos or group acts. There is no rigging or blackout facility. Performers need to be apt at playing to a young audiences, but not necessarily “children’s acts" .

Date: January 30  2016 .

Show times: 11:30 and 2 pm.

Fee £150 per act .
