Hi Guys,

I’m pleased to say my second album ‘The Fade In Time’ is finally recorded, visioned, cooked and almost ready to be released. It’s been an incredible learning journey making it along with ‘The Friends’; joyful, challenging, but always a privilege and the songs are, in my opinion, fresh, unique and unlike any other traditional folk album. I can’t wait for you all to hear it. But to actually get it made and out there and fulfill the last hurdle of it’s journey I want to ask you to join me and be part of it’s birth.

To do this I’m running a Pledge Music campaign where by if you pre-order, or ‘pledge’, you will
firstly get exclusive access to unique content from the album and its making plus the opportunity to receive a range of rare, bespoke and unique items or weird and very Sam Lee experiences I’m inviting some lucky people to join me for. How about a day of wilderness foraging or a nighttime’s walk to hear and sing with Nightingales? Firstly I assume you’d like a CD copy of the album, signed even? Or maybe a handwritten lyric sheet? There’s a whole host of items on offer such as signed artwork from the album, an acoustic house concert from myself and ‘The Friends’, a solo serenade or even a journey with me to spend time with one of the old tradition bearing Gypsy singers I’ve learned songs from. All these experiences are ones that have inspired my musical journey and I would like to now take you on and inspire you with. 

You’ll also be kept right up to date with the progress of the project as I’ll be posting exclusive video diaries, rough and alternative mixes and demos from the album, blogs and perhaps even the odd live or rare track. This will all be available for free to those who get involved, via my “Updates Page”, which is exclusive to you only as pledgers.

On top of this, those who Pledge will also be helping Survival International, the only organisation that champions tribal and indigenous peoples around the world helping them defend their lives, protect their lands and determine their own futures.
