Acclaimed novelist and writer Esther Freud will be teaching a writing course at Jacksons Lane, Highgate on Saturday mornings between 10am and 12pm for six weeks from 9th May, (with a break for half term, after three sessions).

She will base the course, Finding a Voice, on a course she undertook herself finding it very inspiring and giving her freedom as a fiction writer. Freud will focus on childhood memory, dreams, the weather, love, and creating spaces.

Esther says “I will use each session to do a series of exercises. Some will be short and easy, others more challenging, and I'm sure there will be some writers who want to bring what they're already working on and develop it further.”
