Ebe Oke brings together years of research on his first EP
London-based American composer Ebe Oke is crowdfunding his next EP, the product of years of research and recording. The record is a study of the ways in which different animals communicate, with a particular focus on the musicality of birds and insects. Through this microcosm, Oke’s work interrogates the urban experience, gender, sexuality, and what it is to be human.
It’s crucial that this material is released in the right way – Iceland’s Greenhouse Studios have invited Oke to produce, record and master the EP in April of this year. Though Oke has written and performed music for years, this will be his first EP, slated for release in June 2017, and is a precursor to a full album release.
His target is £10,500. You can donate here.
