CASTING & CREW: You, Me, Bum, Bum Train 2011

You Me Bum Bum Train (YMBBT) is a unique, immersive theatre experience which has evolved over seven years into an award-winning show. Last year the event won The Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award 2010 and co-produced a show with the Barbican throughout July in London’s Bethnal Green. The production became the Barbican's fastest-selling show of all time, achieving high critical acclaim and winning The Evening Standard Theatre Award 2010 for 'Outstanding Newcomer'. A site-specific annual event, this year the Directors intend to create an experience more memorable than ever before in an undisclosed, disused London building, whilst next year YMBBT will feature as the centerpiece of the Barbican’s contribution to the Cultural Olympiad.

CASTING
We invite you to come and meet us personally, ask us questions and listen to the Directors Kate and Morgan who will have clearer information on rehearsal and performance dates for you. Your photograph will be taken and we’ll be noting your costume sizes as well, so please have them to hand.
The Recruitment Evenings are important as they give us a better idea of just how many people will be contributing to the project and how to best organise things. We will be holding more of them throughout November. Remember, ALL ARE WELCOME! We want to see you and your friends too! You Me Bum Bum Train does not require anyone to have any previous acting experience.

Contact: youmebumbumtrainvolunteers@gmail.com with your name, phone number, area
of interest and availability for more info!
All roles are voluntary as the show is very low budget and not for profit.

Please download [here] our Cast Information sheet, which you can print out, fill in and hand in to us on the evening. Don't worry if you can't though, we will still register you and take your details.
