Two of our favourite musical delinquents are getting ready to create their most ambitious musical recording to date. And they need your help!
Last September Bourjeois and Maurice started a band, because they wanted to put more focus on their music and explore a bigger and more complex sound, whilst continuing to look at uniquely "B&M" subject matter (reptilian conspiracy theories, sexy tax and the flexible moral compass of the Daily Mail, for example). So when they won the Best Music Act category in the London Cabaret Awards earlier in 2012, it really meant a lot to them to be recognised as songwriters as well as sequin-coated weirdos.
''Anything you can give towards this project will be truly, heartfeltedly, gratefully received and will go directly towards the costs of producing the album, from £1 to £1000! If you can't afford to donate anything, which is totes understandable given the whole "recession" thing, then please share with your filthy rich friends who can.'' B&M
