As much as we love London here at Run-Riot HQ, sometimes its nice to step away from the urban chaos and get back to Nature. I'd been waiting for a sunny spell to visit Kew and so finally last weekend the weather gods made a trip possible. A shoot in last month's Vogue pictured the female stars of BBC's Downton Abbey in full on haute couture, photographed in Kew's stunning glasshouses, so, albeit in a slightly less glamorous get-up,I headed to the picturesque greenhouses.The warm weather meant that some were almost unbearably hot-I can imagine they're a lovely place to visit in the winter-a snow covered Kew must be a stunning site indeed,especially from the treetop walk.You can see some of the Garden attractions here. I'd recommend taking a picnic as the food there can be a bit on the pricey side, but I'll definitely heading back to see the trees in their Autumn glory and of course, for Christmas.(Am I allowed to say the C word yet?)
