Chessboxing, the most hybrid of sports is the ultimate discipline in the search of the body–mind nirvana. As sport rhymes with action, we decided to go and see how it looks. Though sure of the outcome we just found that Chessboxing is even a beautiful thing to see. Tim Woolgar, the founder of the first Chessboxing Club in the Uk, explains how the discipline once originated as a form of performance art and has since become not only an increasingly popular ‘art’ but even very, very glamourous.
