Until 31 May. An audio-visual installation of self portraits by the multi-talented artist Wendy Bevan.
Until 31 May.
We last wrote about Wendy's talents when we reviewed her incredible show, but now you can catch her face on the walls of the brilliant Cob Gallery where she'll be exhibiting previously unseen self portraits. She's also written a new body of music to create a unique audio-visual experience, so if you loved her live show or didn't get the chance to see it, now's a good time to witness her musical talents in a different context.
Multiple exposures made with Bevan’s signature Polaroid camera combine to render ghostly dream-states of ambiguity, while the images are inflamed with texture and intensity. The grain and physicality of analogue film are subjected to Bevan’s articulate choreography of light.
If only all selfies were this beautiful.
8th-31st May Wednesday to Saturday 12-6pm
