  • Get ready for works that are personal, sometimes autobiographical and always intriguing.
  • Bring along a love of texture.
  • See you at Camden Arts Centre

Exploring themes of home, identity and ceremony, Omoding presents his largely autobiographical, mixed media works in-progress, developed throughout June, during his Camden Arts Centre residency.

Wednesday 17 - Sunday 21 July, 10:00.

Andrew Omoding is an Ugandan born, London based artist who creates largely autobiographical works through an intuitive process that begins with the materials he gathers together and evolves around ever-changing stories describing his life and the world as he perceives it. His mixed media sculptures, books and costumes are made using found materials that he weaves, wraps, sews using systematic layering techniques often adding textiles, painted patterns and textures.

For 'It’s my work, come see, come see', Andrew Omoding will include performance, sculpture and installation, inviting the audiences to engage with his works in progress. 18:00.
