There are many gamblers in the world and yet not everyone knows who are the richest. Based on the ranking compiled by onlinecasinopulse we have today the opportunity to take you inside the pockets of the richest men in the world and see which of these are players. The first on the list is still Bill Gates who boasts assets of almost 80 billion dollars, followed by the Mexican Carlos Slim Helu with assets of 77.1 billion and Warren Buffett who has 72.7 billion.

But where is the gambling? In this list, the first businessman to gamble is the American Sheldon Adelson, owner of the casino company Las Vegas Sands which ranks 18th in the world with assets of 31.4 billion dollars. In the United States he is the 13th richest man overall.

To look for another player we have to go down to 82nd position, occupied by the over eighty year old Che Woo who boasts assets of 13.5 billion dollars obtained through the management of all the casinos in the city of Macao. Che Woo is the fifth richest Hong Konger in the world.

The third richest person in the world linked to gambling is Johann Graff, a 68-year-old Austrian who ranks 208th in the world but is also the richest in Austria. Graff owns Novomatic and is worth an estimated $6.6 billion. At number 309 in the world we have Pansy Ho who has assets of 5 billion and is the richest woman in Hong Kong. Pansy Ho is the co-president of MGM China and one of the 17 children of the great tycoon Stanley Ho.

The fifth character linked to the game ranks 360th in the list and has assets of 4.5 billion. We are talking about Kunio Busujima, the sixth richest Japanese in the country as well as the father of Sankyo, a company that produces – among many products – pachinko gambling machines.

The sixth character is still a Japanese and is Hang Chang-Woo, an 84-year-old president and CEO of Maruban. It is a large Japanese company that produces pachinko parlors. The value of his assets is equal to 4.2 billion. The man has Korean origins and has invested money in both Japan and Korea. His position is the same as Kirk Kerkorian (still 4.2 billion), a 97-year-old man from Las Vegas, real estate and cinema magnate. In fact, Kerkorian was the chief executive officer of MGM Resorts International but remains the majority shareholder with 19%.

Then we have the Canadian Mark Scheinberg who occupies the 405th position in the world with an estimated assets of over 4 billion euros. The man is 41 years old and is the tenth richest in Canada. Mark managed to amass money through online poker which, together with his father Isai, led him to build an empire. The empire in question is PokerStars, one of the largest and most well-known online poker companies in the world. PokerStars endorses the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar Jr and is establishing itself as the best poker reality globally.
