National coach, Dutch cricket team on the mend after cardiac arrest: 'She saved my life'
The Dutch cricket federation reports that Campbell may return to the Dutch team this summer.
Vacation
Campbell was on vacation with his family in England when he ended up in intensive care after suffering cardiac arrest. The doctors ruled out that a heart attack was the cause of his cardiac arrest. Read the biography of Campbell at cricket satta bazar.
However, a clear cause has not been found, but possibly there was a delayed reaction to a respiratory infection the cricket coach had last November. He was also infected with the coronavirus in February.
Woman saved his life
The 50-year-old Australian, through the cricket federation, thanked everyone who wished him well in recent weeks, citing in particular the woman who resuscitated him when the coach collapsed on a playground. "Her courage and quick action simply saved my life," Campbell said.
