A Charity Burlesque and Performance Art Cabaret

On Sunday 24th June, women worldwide will celebrate World Femininity Day, and London will honour the occasion with The Clittorati Ball – a charity cabaret show featuring acclaimed burlesque and cabaret performers in aid of The Orchid Project to end female genital cutting.

World Femininity Day began last year with events in London, New York, Copenhagen, Rio and Zagreb. On 24 June 2011, the World Femininity Day website attracted over 30,000 visitors from 73 countries.

London’s World Femininity Day events this year will include an array of afternoon workshops on everything from beginner burlesque and merkin making to cake decoration with a saucy twist. The day will culminate in a riotous celebration of all things feminine at The Clittorati Ball in Soho’s legendary nightspot Madame JoJo’s. An all-star line-up of burlesque and cabaret performers includes.
