Get your skates on and head on down to the West End for an evening of music, drinks and, of course, ice skating, all against the glorious backdrop of the Somerset House's grand 18th-century courtyard.

Running from: Wed 06 - Fri 08 Dec.

Somerset House's grand 18th-century courtyard is the stunning setting for an ice rink again this winter. No matter how unimpressive your skating skills, a trip to this 900-square-metre outdoor rink will be the very definition of festive fun. There are lots of tempting extras too: the Fortnum's Lodge offers champagne, mulled wine and winter dining. So, after you’ve been on the rink, sit back, warm up and enjoy a drink in the Skate Lounge, where you can continue to enjoy the atmosphere and music, or head to the Fortnum’s Lodge bar, where a range of cocktails are on offer throughout the evening.

Eat Your Own Ears has built an enviable reputation for identifying potential talent, building the live profiles of the emerging artists it promotes. EYOE put on the first London shows for Animal Collective, Caribou, Franz Ferdinand, Four Tet and many Mercury nominated acts such as The xx, Anthony and the Johnsons, Bat For Lashes, The Horrors, Florence and the Machine, Anna Calvi, Metronomy and Django Django to name but a few. Alongside producing more than 200 events a year, EYOE is responsible for Field Day, which celebrated its eleventh year this summer.
