Join urbanist and author of Nightwalking: A Nocturnal History of London, Matthew Beaumont, to explore the relationships between literature and the city.
How does walking at night reveal a different side to the city?
Tracing hidden rivers and hidden narratives, this walk will uncover historical layers of London to ask what London’s relationship to the night has been and might become.
Matthew Beaumont is a Professor of English Literature at UCL and a Co-Director of UCL's Urban Laboratory. He is the author of several books, including Nightwalking: A Nocturnal History of London (2015).
