Workshops for all ages taking inspiration from Japanese architecture.
Blurry Boundaries
Take inspiration from Moriyama House in The Japanese House exhibition and create your own model cube unit. Work with illustrator Carla Ferrari to design and decorate the interior of your cube. Once completed, you can mix and match these with others to create a unique home or imagine your cube as a part of a whole city.
House Lanterns
Work with artist Shelly Wain to create your own Japanese House inspired lanterns. In this workshop you’ll use card and paper to create a lantern, with architectural details that come to life with a battery-operated tea light. Be inspired by designs you have seen in the exhibition or use your imagination to create your own unique home that shines bright.
