This half term, the Der Lido team and Wandsworth Museum invite you to make a splash in Tooting town centre!

At the pop-up Construction Gallery in Tooting we present Dear Lido, a showcase of the Dear Lido performances - a playful site specific dance theatre performance based on the much loved outdoor public pool, featuring a collection of archive material and human interest stories. A whole host of exciting FREE workshops at the Construction Gallery, supported by the Mayor of London’s Outer London Fund, will celebrate the past and present of the much beloved Lido.

THURSDAY 16 FEBRUARY - MAKE A SPLASH - VINTAGE INSPIRED SWIMMING CAPS WORKSHOP 1940’s hands on history for you to discover and there is a chance to create a fabulous vintage inspired swimming cap. 11.00-13.00 Drop in event suitable for families (children over 5)
