Co-hosted by Central Saint Martins, Industry Insights is an opportunity to explore some of the core themes emerging from The Design Museum's exhibition Hope to Nope: Graphics & Politics 2008-2018.

How might graphic design be used to stabilise or dissent, provoke political action and empower communities? Can graphic design shape or even dictate politics? Are graphic designers effective activists?

Featuring talks and provocations from designers whose work is included in the exhibition and a special introduction from the show's curatorial team, this event aims to open up new ways of thinking about and engaging graphic design as a tool for power, protest and participation.
