A panel discussion that uses Desmond Morris’ ‘The Human Zoo’ as a starting point to examine human behaviour in the context of the metropolis.
PANEL
MICHELLE BADDELEY is a Behavioral Economist based at University College London - Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment. Michelle explores the impact of social, psychological and neurological influences on decision-making under risk and uncertainty. Current research projects focus on the application of insights from behavioural economics and information economics to the analysis of infrastructure supply chains, and the development of behavioural macroeconomic models.
WILLIAM FEENEY is a Field Biologist based between the University of Cambridge (UK) and the University of Queensland (AUS). His research focuses on the ecological and evolutionary consequences of interactions between species. He is particularly interested in how deception, communication, cooperation and learning affect the dynamics between ecological rivals, such as predators and their prey or parasites and their hosts.
LEWIS BUSH is a London-based Photographer, Writer, Curator and Teacher. His photography and writing explores diverse topics loosely centred on issues of history, representation, and power.
ALEXANDER LUMSDEN is an Interdisciplinary Artist whose work focuses on the topic of change and the constant dualities of progress in the digital era. Lumsden is a guest lecturer internationally and runs workshops focused on the use and application of contemporary colours.
CHAIR
CHRISTOPHE BRUCHANSKY is a London-based Artist, Philosopher and Writer of metaphysics and political philosophy. He is the author of the two philosophical books 'Humans and their Errors' and 'Digressive Society' which explore areas of existentialism and individual choice.
