Mindfulness and slow looking workshop inspired by the beauty of Gallen-Kallela's paintings of Lake Keitele.
Be guided towards a deeper connection with Gallen-Kallela's paintings and learn how to find a place of inner calm within the bustling spaces of the Gallery. Neuroscientist Tamara Russell will lead you in some basic mindfulness practice and Christina Bradstreet will guide you in an immersive exploration of the paintings.
No experience necessary. The session includes some basic meditation practice, suitable for beginners.
Dr Tamara Russell MSc, PhD, D. Clin. Psych. is the Director of the Mindfulness Centre of Excellence, London. She is also a visiting Lecturer at King’s College London, lecturing on the clinical and neuroscientific aspects of mindfulness.
