Alternative Press is concerned with promoting creativity through the mediums of comix, zines, book arts, screen printing, poetry and other forms of self publishing.

Organising events since 2008 Alternative Press have always strived to widen the scope of the small press and get out to a new audience, and to encourage others into this, most accessible medium.

2011 saw the first International Alternative Press Festival bringing artists from the UK, Sweden, Japan, Finland, Slovenia, Holland and France to London for a two day fair at London’s Conway Hall; three exhibitions over two weeks, talks, workshops, demonstrations and collaborative printing.
