Through spoken word and physical theatre, Austerity & Me is an artistic exploration of personal accounts by 18-24 year olds living in South London today.

Dates and Times: Thu 14 Jun – Sat 16 Jun, 19:30 and Sat 16 Jun, 14:00.

The big word we’re told so little about. It’s reported to have caused over 120,000 deaths in the UK to date. It’s arguably the most pressing socio-political issue of our time.

But what exactly is it? How does it actually affect us? Can we do anything about it?

Austerity & Me offers the opportunity for their voices to be heard in the struggle for survival against the violence austerity inflicts.

Ovalhouse Performance Company is a brand new performance collective for 18-24 year olds from South London. This is their debut performance before touring the show to National Theatre of Scotland’s Exchange Festival in Inverness in July.
