Cult garage rock band The Horrors are heading to the Royal Albert Hall for an exclusive UK performance, which will see the band play their Mercury Prize-nominated album Primary Colours in its entirety
Speaking about what motivated them to do the show, the band said:
“Primary Colours was a pivotal album for us and we are excited to give it a deserved celebration as it reaches its tenth year. We welcome with open arms our friends, fans and supporters from throughout the universe to come to the Royal Albert Hall, one of the most beautiful venues in London, to enjoy this very special evening with us.”
Upon its initial release in 2009, Primary Colours was widely heralded as a defining moment for the band and represented a marked, sonic departure from their debut Strange House. The album was met with almost universal critical acclaim.
Produced by Geoff Barrow of Portishead, Primary Colours spawned the excellent singles Sea Within A Sea, Who Can Say and Mirror’s Image and confirmed and justified the hype that had surrounded the band for a number of years.
