Discover the imaginative films of Canadian artist Tamara Henderson as she presents the premiere of a new short film alongside a selection of previous works.

Henderson’s films bridge dreams with everyday life in a surprisingly personal and poetic visual language. Much of her imagery is drawn from dreams or hypnosis sessions using various recording methods. Her works are shot with a handheld 16mm camera and edited during the filming process to preserve their unconscious and associative qualities. Objects are intuitively and performatively manipulated throughout Henderson’s films, integrating some of the artist’s sculptures, installation materials and artistic processes.
