Join the Corleone family business as Francis Ford Coppola's epic trilogy returns to the big screen.

Running from: Sat 21 Sep - Sun 07 Oct.

The Godfather
Fri 21 Sep - Mon 08 Oct.
The Godfather must surely rank as one of the greatest films of all time. Putting its Oscar-winning credentials, critical acclaim and huge box-office success to one side, it’s the fact that 46 years on it still feels as epic and compelling as it did when it was first released that underlines the claim. Spanning a decade, the film explores the world of organised crime in a way that Hollywood had never seen before: instead of glamour and wisecracks, Coppola provided an authentic air of the everyday merged with the cold brutality of the family business. With Pacino at the top of his game and Brando embodying power and corruption as the ageing Don, this is three hours of pure cinematic gold.

The Godfather: Part II
Sat 29 Sep & Sun 07 Oct.
In the next chapter in Coppola’s crime trilogy is another cinematic gem, we learn Vito Corleone’s back story and witness the rise of a new Godfather.

The Godfather: Part III
Sat 29 Sep & Sun 07 Oct.
The final installment of this epic saga centres on an ageing Don, and the story comes full circle.

Fancy a Godfather marathon? On the 29th September, BFI Southbank will be screening the whole trilogy. Alongside this, joint ticket holders are entitled to a complimentary Negroni cocktail - the don of cocktails. So sit back and relax in style over a pre or post-movie drink! Joint ticket for the whole trilogy £24, concs £18 (Members pay £3 less)
