The award winning, independent Genesis Cinema are about to launch the first edition of Fragments Festival (7-15 June), which takes a look at filmmakers whose focus is outside the traditional gaze.

Our Guest Editor this week is Tyrone Walker-Hebborn, owner of Genesis Cinema (the venue also celebrates its 20th birthday this year).

We caught up with Tyrone before he dashed off to Cannes to see his pal Dexter Fletcher’s latest film ‘Rocketman’, to talk about the state of the movie industry, surviving as an indie cinema, and pulling out his personal highlights from Fragments Festival. Read Tyrone's Run-Riot interview with Jayson Mansaray here.

In our Magazine section author Owen Booth writes for Run-Riot about masculinity, or rather a kind of guide book for how fathers can raise their sons in the modern world without being a total prick. Effortlessly useful and honest. And funny.

Comedian Jack Barry has just enjoyed two nights at Soho Theatre. Kerenza Evans went along to review the fella who just couldn't stop talking about sex and equality. And his Argentinian girlfriend. And football. And threesomes. Typical bloke? Read the review here.

Sophie Ablett and Grace Strickland de Souza from theatre company Klein Blue write about societies relationship to what woman can grow on their body (think body hair), or inside their body (here's looking at you Northern Ireland, Alabama, Georgia et al) - ahead of their show Are There Female Gorillas?

'My milk shake brings all the boys to the yard'. Kellis, you've got a lot to answer for. Yes, in 2009 you released Milkshake. Somehow in 2019 it's making a revival. Watch the original pop video here. #HappyVotingReaders
