Hard-wired visuals

Our Guest Editors' launching us into 2019 are the co-Directors of the London International Mime Festival, Joseph Seelig and Helen Lannaghan. Taking in 16-productions across the Capital, it runs from 9 January - 3 February. In their Run-Riot interview they share their insider tips on what to see (as much as you can!) - this is, after all, London's most delicious visual treat to surrender your gaze to.

In our Magazine section performance artist Greg Wohead reflects on differing world views ahead of Call It A Day at the Yard Theatre. Mexican Wrestler and founder of Reset LAB Thomas Dawkins shares his tips how to look after and care for our buff bodies. Sam Lee from the Nest Collective is recruiting singers for the Fire Choir - expect joyous belters of political empowerment.

For more weird culture gems and obscure competitions and offers (Thrill of the Chase, and New Shorts: Midnight Movies - both part of The London Short Film Festival; Dash Café: Songs of the Migrant Worker; and The Nest Collective / Ceilidh Liberation Front: Burns Night Party) - browse our Offers page. As for the best of the rest - rummage through our genre-bending pages where you'll find plenty of haut happenings.

Here's to wishing you a rollicking week dear Players! Bottoms up! RR xx
