An immersive event, discussing the sexuality of modern women in contemporary art and culture and showcasing works from an array of young female artists.

Joining forces with girl-culture magazine Polyester and female-empowering journal Ligature, WAX once again brings to life an important glance at the role of the modern woman and modern feminism in contemporary society. Hyper-sexualised and experimental, binding the worlds of contemporary consumer culture and pop with modern forms of advertisin, public art, film, performance and immersive experience, Wax Live proposes a question of how people perceive the modern woman. A powerful dialogue on how we view ourselves and each other, Wax suggests through multi-disciplinary means the conditions of our modern world, and the flexibility of our ideals, desires and beliefs. 

There will be live music on the night, DJ's and art performance along with displayed art works, exclusive print sales, print issues and exclusive magazine copies.
