Featuring works from over 100 artists, Small is Beautiful is a rare opportunity to purchase smaller pieces by internationally recognised names and discover new talents working across a range of media.

Small is Beautiful was first established at Flowers Gallery in 1974, inviting selected contemporary artists working in any media to present works with a fixed economy of scale, each piece measuring no more than 7 x 9 inches. This year's exhibition (the 36th edition) gives a rare opportunity to purchase these small pieces from recognised and up and coming artists around the world.

As in previous years, Flowers Gallery gives a great opportunity for young, unrepresented or neglected artists a chance to shine alongside more established or famous artists. I bought my first and still treasured work of art from the 1st edition in 1974. - Matthew Flowers
