The Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize is an annual prize established by The Photographers’ Gallery in 1996.

"…its political thrust is an encouraging sign that photography is once again engaging with the real world in new and surprising ways." Sean O'Hagan, The Guardian

The £30,000 prize rewards a living photographer, of any nationality, for a specific body of work in an exhibition or publication format in that year. The artists shortlisted for the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize 2017 are Sophie Calle, Dana Lixenberg, Awoiska van der Molen, and Taiyo Onorato and Nico Krebs. The winner will be announced at a special award ceremony during the exhibition.
